Adiós a un colorista

Otro artista que se va... El veterano colorista y productor de portadas de DC Robert K. (Bob) LeRose falleció el pasado 30 de Agosto a la edad de 85. Veterano de la Segunda Guerra, LeRose trabajó luego de la misma como manager de oficina y colorista para Johnstone & Cushing, una editorial que se especializaba en comics para Boy's Life, Ford, General Motors, B.F. Goodrich y otros. En 1962 siguió al editor/escritor Al Stenzel para trabajar en Stenzel Productions. Doce años después LeRose se unió a DC Comics como artista de producción, especializandose en portadas. También ahí comenzó su larga carrera como colorista para DC, en más de 600 trabajos en portadas e interiores. LeRose dejó su trabajo en DC después de veinte años, aunque él siguió haciendo coloreados ocasionales.
